i think thats about it so far. still got a few females to produce, as well so will have laods of babies hopefully soon.

Well today saw the arrival of my new corns, that are absolutely fab!! Big thanks to Sue, at Snake-city, cant thank enough for them. One was a Pink Snow (male), Sunglow (female), Candy Cane (male) and Candy Cane (female). So they are soon going to breeding (fingerscrossed) so we can have some little uns.
Well whats happened this week, the day in the life of a rescue centre. We have been driving all over the county-side, to pick up 2 bearded dragons. Andy is over the moon with them and we cant thank Lesley and Cath enough for them, as they are really both fantastic and just what we were looking for in our growing family. They both are in such good condition and have been well looked after and loved by them so much, that we hope that we can do them justice with provided that level of care that they have had previous to us. We will update the gallery very soon with pictures of these very good looking reptiles.
"Tilly" my Blue tongue is due to drop anyday now so i am getting so excited about her and the birth etc that i cant leave her alone for long incase she needs me, she probably wont but cant help but worry anyway. All the corns eggs are down to about 4 outta 10 which is really sad, but still she is a first time mum so i should have expected that really. Still she has built herself back up now and is just going back into shed again for her post laying shed.
The ghost corn i have here still isnt showing any sign of eggs yet and has just shed so i dont think she is carring any this time, but i didnt see her mate with anyone so i guess she probably hasnt. The other candy cane and my snow both were confirmed matings but they arent showing any signs of eggs yet either so i guess they are just not ready to have any.
Alsom Andys fire skinks were seen mating which is fantastic as there are no records of anyone being able to breed them, so Andy is doing something right thats for sure.
I cant believe it, my Candy Cane snake thats quite small, has just laid 1 egg!!! i am lets say disappointed as i thought i would have got a few more than that but still one is better than none i guess. The other females dont look like they are carring any eggs at the moment but still my snow has just mated again today so i guess there is still time for the rest to lay soon. I am really excited though and cant wait to see what i get out of the egg!!! Andy has been struggling trying to get his gecko eggs to hatch, and that must be soooo frustrating.
So i have to wait and see now what is going to happen about my other corns and if they decide to lay as well. So back to the waiting game again.
Well, i have some rather fat looking corns bless them, so hopefully i will get some eggs soon. I am sure that one of the candy canes is going to be ready to lay sometime next weeks, which will be fantastic. I am so excited that i really cant wait for them to come. we know then that all the hard work i have put in to them, is finally paying off. not sure that i will want to part with any yet though, but we will have to wait and see what morphs i have.
Tilly on the other hand, is dragging her pregnancy out, and i have been waiting (what seems like) ages for her to produce. I have now under a month to wait as she should have had them by the 20 april so time is getting here, very slowly. I am so excited about them, that its killing me to wait any longer, but i know i have to be patient before i will become a grand-ma!
Well i will keep everything posted on here, so everyone can see and get just as excited as we are about having them.
We currently have the following reptiles to date;
15 Corn Snakes, 5 Common Boas, 2 Everglade Rat Snakes, 2 Royal Pythons, 1 Costal python, and a Dumeril Boa. Total of 26 snakes at present.
We also have the following Lizards;
2 Fire Skinks, 4 Bearded Dragons, 1 Uromastyx, 16 Leopard Geckos, 2 Berber Skinks, 5 Blue Tongued Skinks, 2 Pink Tongued Skinks, 1 Yemen Chameleon
As well we have stick Insects, one praying Mantis and lots of African Land snails, so thats enough to keep us busy for now.
I am searching at the moment for Any female Corn Snakes, and any Blue Tongues as i am obsessed with them.
Well drove up to Stoke-on-Trent yesterday, which took about 3 hours all in total, and it was a fairly good run up there. I was taking the Water Dragons to their new home and re-homing my Morphus (adult Royal) there as well. On arrival to drop my Royal off, My friends Mark and Emma, (in stoke) had had a phone call about a pair of Pink tongued skinks, so i jumped at them big time, as i really fancied some of them. So we have them at home as well, now little cuties i will be putting up some piccys of them when i get some done. also at Marks and Emma's i have picked up my 2 lovely Boa's that are going to be for future breeding projects later on so really chuffed with them. One thinks its a king cobra i think and does nothing but hiss at me lol.
Then after Stoke i travelled to Tracy and Reubens with their Water Dragons, which was really cool, and they were really happy with them which is even better. Tracy also gave me a Male, leopard Gecko so he is going to have a couple of female companions soon as well.
So all though it was a long day, all in all, it was well worth it, the Water Dragons are in thier new homes and so is the royal, and also both the boa's are happy and so are the pink tongues and the gecko. I reckon it was about a 7hour round trip driving which was a heavy slog, but now i can rest a while and take a good deep breath knowing i wont have to do that again for a while.
